In Marfa Texas, Duncan Heuser is planning an innovative community inspired by the desert landscape and the desire for privacy, solitude, and security. Our adobe homes are small, stylish, and built to be organically integrated into the desert landscape. With off-grid capabilities, thick walls and roofs, the practical design speaks to the desire of residents for both the solitude of desert minimalism, artistic sophistication and the practical amenities of a community. The aesthetic channels the natural textures and sun-soaked color palettes of Mexico and the American Southwest with a hint of the modern minimalism of Ibiza.
